| From Pastor David Conway I’m glad to be writing to you once again! Thanks to Mike, Mary Alice and Wayne for taking care of our newsletter! If you would like to receive the newsletter by e-mail let one of them know. We will have copies available for those who want to receive a paper copy. I’m thankful for the hard work that our Surfing The Edge guiding team has done. Thirty interviews have been completed and sent to the firm that will do the evaluation. The team will meet with Alan Roxburgh in February and discuss the results of our interviews. Thanks to those of you who participated in the interviews! If you haven’t had a chance to do an interview and would like to you may contact me or Louise Eaton. The guiding team will be providing an increasing amount of information to you in the weeks ahead. We’ve been doing our Sunday Morning Seminars for about four years now. A wide range of topics have been discussed. We’ve studied conservative and liberal theologies. Many current social issues have been approached. Most of our participants have had a wide range of emotions—joy, anger, peace—depending on the topic. I am grateful to those of you who have participated and made the program successful. If you’ve never attended I hope you will. We’ll be announcing new topics soon. I believe God has great things in store for us at RCC! You are a loving group and committed to sharing the Gospel. It is a privilege to work beside you. If you have a topic you’d like to see addressed in the newsletter let me know. Continue to pray for our worship services, for me as I preach, and for the Holy Spirit to guide us as a congregation.
